1. The Challenge
Teachers at Royal Choice Schools had varying levels of instructional experience and lacked structured, continuous professional development. The school needed an engaging instructor-led training (ILT) series that built practical teaching skills while respecting teacher time.
2. Target Audience
K–12 classroom teachers, department leads, and instructional assistants. Materials were designed to support both novice teachers building foundational skills and experienced educators refining their practice.
3. My Role & Process
Designed and facilitated a modular professional development series:
- Analyze: Conducted needs assessments via classroom observations and teacher survey responses.
- Design: Outlined interactive workshop modules focused on active learning, classroom management, and differentiated instruction.
- Develop: Authored comprehensive facilitator guides, presentation slide decks, participant workbooks, and peer-coaching checklists.
- Implement: Delivered interactive workshops and conducted follow-up classroom coaching sessions.
- Evaluate: Gathered participant feedback and measured classroom implementation during post-training observations.
